Senior Design Director, Video Editor
Eric has spent his career broadening design work through engaging mediums, helping clients such as Nike, Google and Airbnb reach new potential.
While his Instagram explore feed might be chock-full of woodworking content, he knew since he was a teen that video production was the trade for him.
- For you, what makes Lippincott a special place to work?
The knowledge and accessibility; great work here doesn’t just exist as a shiny mythical deliverable. People eagerly share their process across disciplines, making it a fantastic place to keep learning.
- What is a little-known fact about Lippincott?
The sheer scale of Go-to Brands Lippincott has worked with. The volume of iconic work is so impressive that I’m constantly like, 'Wait we did that? We did that too? And that one?' The white ribbon for Coca-Cola is one that gets me for some reason.
People [at Lippincott] eagerly share their process across disciplines, making it a fantastic place to keep learning.
- What's your favorite place you've traveled to?
I spent a month in Spain bouncing between Barcelona, Valencia, and Mallorca. Such rich culture, amazing food, architecture and natural beauty. Everyone should visit Spain once in their life.
- Where do you find your inspiration?
Inspiration for me comes from the process. Once I’m given a brief or a problem to solve and I have my assets and tools, I get in the flow state of creating. Ideas just seem to emerge for me when I’m focused on the activity, not on the outcome.
- Who would you change places with for a day?
I would change places with one of my two dogs. Most likely the one that’s calmer. I want to know what the world smells like to a dog. I read somewhere that they can smell the time of day.
