Jeroen Sikma
高级设计总监

Ever since he was eight years old, designing a newspaper on his family’s computer, Jeroen knew he wanted to be a designer.
That early drive paid off. As a senior design director at Lippincott, Jeroen creates physical and digital brand experiences for brands including Rocket Mortgage, Upwise from MetLife and Refinitiv.
- Being a Lippincott’er means:
Being part of a family that has the same values, interests and drive, and want to tell stories through design.
- Which projects have been the most meaningful to you and why?
Any project where I can combine my experience of brand identity work with UX/UI to create a new, exciting experience.
- Have you made any significant left turns, u-turns or corkscrews in life?
I sold all of my possessions and moved to New York to start my first official graphic design job, despite never visiting before.
- What did school actually teach you?
That the story you're trying to communicate is more important than a contemporary design style that is popular in that moment.
- What’s your happy place?
Camping in the mountains without any internet or phone connection.
- What is your favorite art movement?
The early Dutch/Swiss Modernist graphic design studios, wherein design was very minimal and organized, and hierarchy and storytelling were the most important aspects. This feeds directly into modern day UX and UI design.
