- What is a little-known fact about Lippincott?
We gave Coca-Cola its ribbon. That’s how much of heritage we have.
- Which projects have been the most meaningful to you?
The Southwest Airlines brand refresh was one of the most memorable projects I’ve worked on. From their snack packaging to airport signage to their signature livery … I get to see my work everytime I am at the airport and it’s a very special feeling.
- If you weren’t in this profession, what would you be?
Probably brewing coffee.
- What’s your happy place?
Wherever I am with my family.
- When did you decide you wanted to be in this business?
At first, I thought I simply liked the concept of “art” but all that changed when I encountered “Broadway Boogie Woogie” by Piet Mondrian. His painting was so abstract and yet realistic. From that moment on, I started to pursue the practical form of the art and haven’t looked back.
