Her favorite part of the role? Fusing together analytics with creativity and innovation.
- For you, what makes Lippincott a special place to work?
The people! Lippincotters are a special breed and are truly some of the smartest, savviest, most creative, and down to earth people I’ve met. Plus, we know how to have a good time at happy hour.
- What gets you out of bed in the morning?
There is something exciting about the unknown and making the most of the day.
- If you weren't in this profession, what would you be?
A therapist or a party planner. While they may seem like very different career paths, I love working with people, getting to better understand a person’s goals and challenges, and help them work towards a solution. (Which is probably one of the reasons I love this job.)
Being a Lippincott’er means being curious, passionate, driven and a go-getter.
- What's your favorite thing about the place you call home?
There is something special about New York. There is a never-ending list of things to do and neighborhoods to explore, and pizza is available 24/7.
- Where do you find your inspiration / source of creativity?
I do my best thinking when I run—it’s the best way to see new places and just let your mind wander.
- Who do you most want to meet? What would you say to them?
Michelle Obama. She’s a trailblazer, shares my passion for spinning at SoulCycle and her name is Michelle. I’d ask her all the things about living in the White House, staying poised in the public eye, and hope we’d become good friends by the end of it.
- Who would you change places with for a day?
I’d trade places with one of the judges on The Great British Bake Off. It’d be fun getting to try all the different sweets and be part of a feel-good show.
