Stefan leads Lippincott’s operations in the Asia-Pacific region.
An expert in global brand building, he has worked in the region for over 16 years leading programs for clients such as Affin Hwang Capital, Cathay Pacific, Doosan Group, Hyundai, Kia, Samsung and SK Telecom. He holds a master’s degree in business administration and engineering and a Ph.D. in marketing and new product development, and was one of the first certified snowboarding instructors in Germany 20 years ago.
- When did you decide you wanted to be in this business?
I knew I wanted to be in this business the first time I heard about it. And it hasn’t disappointed. There is never a boring day.
- Do you have a mantra or a favorite quote?
Be hard on the facts but soft on the people.
- Who has influenced you most in your career?
All the people I have worked with over the past 20 years; there is always something you can learn from others, even if they’re small things.
- What did school actually teach you?
To question commonplace wisdom and how to get to the real source of the problem.
- What’s your happy place?
On the water (preferably the frozen type).
